2) So what kind of gear and stuff do you use?
I own and shoot with an HVX200 P2 video camera and a Nikon still camera. I use a Nodal Ninja pano head for panoramic HDR photography. Edit with Final Cut Pro, design with pencil and paper and Photoshop, animate motion graphics and composite with After Effects, and do that 3D thing with Maya. All of the other gear, software, and techniques that I have used and am still familiar with is too extensive to list here. My guitar is a 1964 Gibson J-50.
3) Hey, that's a long list of services on the About page. How can you be good at all that stuff without specializing in one area?
I have specialized in all of those areas and continue to do so. An early, and continuing, passion for creative imaging has led me through several associated disciplines in both the professional world and the personal artistic world. Design and filmmaking, and visual effects in particular, require knowledge in a broad range of areas, and I've always enjoyed learning about, and then applying, those creative skills. At the end of the day, creating quality images and movies that satisfy the client, tickle the eyes, warm the heart, and tweak the brain are what it's all about. Whatever it takes to do that, you do it.
